Vacation Bible School: July 27-31
Join us for a unique Vacation Bible School. Babylon was a place where many languages were spoken. Daniel and his friends were captured and brought there by King Nebuchadnezzar. This is the setting for our multi-language VBS.
Participants will have small group Bible studies in their heart language (English, Portuguese, and Spanish). The Babylon marketplace, where dramas, crafts and other activities will be featured will be in the market language (English). Worship will include all three languages.
We serve dinner for the children at 5:30 and begin worship at 6:00 pm.
Join us Monday night at 5:30 for registration.

Online Bulletins?
Generally, Church websites are either set up by a professional and abandoned, or they are made and run by volunteers. So, church websites are rarely the best of the best when it comes to web design.
Stevendale’s website is a free blog set up on blogger, with just a little coding for styling. So, we definitely fall into the volunteer-run website category.
Today’s post is an experiment to see if posting the bulletin online is feasible and worthwhile. Below is the bulletin for Sunday March 29, 2015
Ladies Tea–March 14th

This is short notice! The Mark Trammell Quartet has had a cancellation and has reached out to Stevendale Baptist Church for an opportunity to perform.
We love receiving singing groups, choirs, praise teams, and quartets whenever we can.
The concert is free. No tickets are necessary. An opportunity to give a love offering will be provided.
Again, this Thursday, February 5th at 7:00 p.m.
About the Mark Trammell Quartet
For over forty years Mark Trammell has been blessed to sing Gospel Music. Many long time observers and followers of Gospel Music consider him to be one the greatest baritone singers of all time. He has won multiple awards as a singer and producer, and has been a member of four of Gospel Music's most acclaimed groups - The Kingsmen, The Cathedrals, Greater Vision and Gold City.
For most people, just being with one of these legendary groups would be the pinnacle of a career. But for Mark now is not the time to kick back and relax. Instead, it is time to step into a fresh mission that focuses on evangelism through the seamless integration of Gospel Music and preaching - The Mark Trammell Quartet.
Join us for Revival
Stevendale Baptist Church was founded in 1956. We grew every year, without exception, for thirty years. For the last 30 years, however, we had been repeating a pattern of decline and plateau. Now, we are growing in an amazing way!
Jesus told the Ephesian church to “Remember how far you have fallen. Repent and do the first works!”
Stevendale has been doing just that. We have been growing both in new members and new Christians. We are starting new ministries, and getting back to faithfully doing the first works.
Join us for our FirstWorks Revival!
- Dates: February 20th –22nd, 2015.
- Dr. T.C. French, pastor emeritus of Jefferson Baptist Church will be our revival preacher.
- Dr. Tommy Middleton, Executive Director of BAGBR and former pastor of Woodlawn Baptist Church will be our worship leader.
