January 2014 Happenings

It’s a new year and a big start to things at Stevendale Baptist Church.

Two Southern Gospel Concerts:

The Diplomats on Friday, January 10th, and Brian Free & Assurance on Saturday January 25th. Both concerts are at 7:00 and free admission with an opportunity to give a love offering.

Two Guest Speakers:

Glen Wagnon will be leading the Bible study for our Young at Heart services during the month of January. Young at Heart meets in the sanctuary at 10:30 am on Wednesday mornings.

Jamie Womack will be our guest speaker on Sunday morning January 26th. She will share her testimony and a message of hope and encouragement.

In today's Christian society, there is a health-wealth gospel movement. According to this belief, God wants Christians to have perfect health and wealth. What do you do when life is not perfect? Jamie Chaney Womack testifies of God's faithfulness even in the midst of her struggles with cerebral palsy.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
PSALM 73:26

A Big Missions Conference

For the Sunday evening service on January 26th, Stevendale Baptist Church will join with the other 100+ churches in our baptist association at Zoar Baptist Church. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to see how our church and association are bring the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth.
